M-TEER in cancer patients works procedurally but not prognostically.
The GeroScience meta-analysis pooled 8 observational studies (1,522 cancer patients, 4,716 controls) and found 72% higher long-term all-cause mortality (HR 1.72, 95% CI 1.03–2.90, I²=74.8%) despite identical 30-day mortality and procedural success rates.
